Reid Says Republicans Are Targeting the Vulnerable
June 29, 2011

From
USA Today:
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said Republicans are risking a government default that would increase interest rates and curtail Social Security and other benefit payments.
"Republicans don't seem to care about the consequences to middle class Americans," Reid said. "They care more about protecting the tax breaks for oil companies, companies that ship jobs oversees, even people who own corporate jets and yachts."
