From
the transcript of Tuesday's show:
First up, however, as you may know, Attorney General Eric Holder has been one of the most outspoken people against the prison at Guantanamo Bay. As the nation's chief law enforcement officer, Mr. Holder has said he's not comfortable with trying terrorists at Gitmo or even housing them there. But now the president says, "Fine with me."
With us to analyze attorneys and FOX news analysts Kimberly Guilfoyle and Lis Wiehl. All right. Wiehl, does this undermine the authority of Holder?
LIS WIEHL, FOX NEWS ANALYSTS: No. Because Holder -- Holder said what he said, and Obama said what he said. He did 180 degrees today. Absolutely. I think we all agree that's a flip flop. But Holder is beholding to Obama. He's got to do what Obama says.
O'REILLY: Honorable people in Roman times killed themselves.
WIEHL: I don't think that's going to happen.
O'REILLY: Japanese culture, as well. Or in America, they used to resign. And they said, you know, my belief system is you're torturing people in Guantanamo Bay, and they can't be there. But now that you want them there.
WIEHL: That really hasn't happened in the last 24 hours.
O'REILLY: Shouldn't -- shouldn't Holder resign...
