Obama's Popularity Still Down, But Not Out
April 20, 2011
Eventually pollsters will run out of crazy people to survey.
From
New York Daily News:
Just 47% of Americans approve of President Obama's job performance, down from 51% last month, according to a new Washington Post/ABC poll.
That 47% approval rating is a mere percentage point higher than the lowest rating of Obama's presidency.
Meanwhile, his disapproval rating spiked to 50%, up five points since March.
Still, America is even less into Republicans. The President holds leads against seven potential Republican challengers in head-to-head races.
Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee would be the President's most formidable challengers, trailing Obama by four and six points respectively.
