Schumer: People Think Government Does Too Little
December 23, 2011
Crazy talk.
From
RCP:
"What began with the debt ceiling and now continues with this issue, people -- you know, the American people have pretty good sniffers and they're beginning to smell that this Tea Party is extreme and not really interested in what's good for Americans. Not simply that they might have a different viewpoint, they want to cut government more than others but rather that they're basically trying to paralyze government and get nothing done. And it is true that people are upset with government. But it's not because it's doing too much. It's because it's doing too little to help them," Sen. Chuck Schumer said on MSNBC's "Ed Show."
